Basic 22 - password encryption

I have spent some time on the challenge and I have what I think is a pair of username/password hash. I can't use the hash to authenticate and I don't even know what kind of encryption is used in order to decrypt it.

Apparently I am missing something.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The hash method is pretty common, or it used to be anyway. There are now many resources on the web to quickly find out what the plaintext is. Look at the length of the hash, that's the biggest hint to what kind of hash it is. Have you even tried just googling the hash itself?
