I was sitting in my dad's computer security+ class (I'm 16, no  I don't have much hacking experience) and I thought
so you know how anti-spyware and anti-virus stuff are combined right?
Well they can't be the two different things at the same time, generally they are one at a time, I assume (If wrong then tell me :D)
So what if there was malware that changed form when it switched?

    Ex.
When anti-virus is snooping everything you have, it acts as spyware or something to remain undetected BUT when it takes that pause (however short!)
it switches to a virus, then keeps going like nothing happened. I was just curious if this is a possibility or this is unreal.
