Voice Mail Default Passwords - Submitted By: Ethernet 2008-08-19 11:49:16
VoiceMail Default Password List
By Ethernet
=================================
*These where only collected by me and compiled

Intro:
======
This little article will cover 21 different Voice Mail and Answering Machine default codes.  Following are some quick (but useless) bruteforcing steps.
Enjoy.

General Passwords:
==================
[1] T-Mobile SDAâ.¢ :: Last four digits of mobile number
[2] AT&T          :: 111111
[3] Mobile        :: 1234
[4] Telus         :: # + Mailbox number
[5] Qwest         :: (none)
[6] SBC           :: (none)
[7] Bell Canada   :: Last 7 digits of phone number
[8] Norstar       :: 0000
[9] Vodacom       :: 1111
[10] MTN          :: 1234
[11] OneConnect   :: 1234
[12] CINDI        :: 1111 or 1234 or 9876 or 0000
[13] Free Optus   :: The number you dialed
[14] Unity VMB    :: Dial 6700 - Password is 12345
[15] Swisscom     :: 2355
[16] NCAR         :: 123456
[17] Hancock      :: 0000
[18] Verison VMB  :: Your 7 digit telephone number
[19] i-Post       :: 1234#
[20] Meridian     :: *1# or bx# or 0000# or 1111# or 1234#
[21] Octel        :: 0000 or 1234 or 1234567

Brute Forcing:
==============
Dont feal like guessing the password?  Brute Force it.
This works well on AT&T Answering Machines.

::1 Digit::

1. Dial the phone number.
2. Enter the following code:

 0123456789

::2 Digits::

1. Dial the phone number and wait for the automated responce
2. Enter the following code very quickly:

 1234567898765432135792468642973147
 4193366994488552277539596372582838
 491817161511026203040506070809001

3. You just entered every possible 2 digit combination.
You'll know you hit the right one when the messages start playing.

However unpractical it might seem, i also dug up every possible 3 digit
combinartion.

::3 Digits::

1. Dial the phone number.
2. Enter the following code:

 000100200300400500600700800900

After that it just gets to be way too much to put in.  I must admit the brute forcing is kind of pointless as very few VMBs still use 1-3 digit passwords, but if you found a real old one you could try it out on it!

I hope you enjoyed the short list of Voice Mail passwords.  Sorry i couldn't find more but 21 isnt a bad number.
